A jury found in favor of a Ventura nursing home abuse victim in the amount of $7.75 million when the 71-year-old patient was seen with unexplained bruises. Maria Arellano, a non-verbal, stroke victim had her hair pulled, fingers bent and other atrocious acts committed against her which were all caught on tape when the family placed a hidden camera in her room.
