Former aide charged with molesting residents at California home for the disabled
Curtis Cortez was charged with molesting two female residents. He is being held on $100,000 bail and was arrested on felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts. Cedars of Marin, the home for the disabled where this occurred had previously warned Cortez against hugging patients or giving back and shoulder rubs. Cortez claimed this was part of his "Hawaiian Culture" but also admitted to having trouble with his girlfriend and touching one woman's breasts and genitals.
