Drug Overdose leads to $3.1 million verdict in California Nursing Home Abuse case
Barbara Lefforge received a $3.1 million award after being given a brain damaging morphine overdose. Ms. Lefforge was only at the St. Edna Subacute & Rehabilitation Center in Santa Ana for about 5 ½ hours when she received the nearly fatal overdose.
